SEETHALER, Frieda
Frieda passed away peacefully at the Edson Hospital on Monday, January 23, 2017.
She was born in Germany on February 24, 1916. Her family moved to Canada in December 1916. Frieda married Erich Seethaler in November 1933 and they homesteaded in the Pinedale area till 1951 when they moved to Rosevear to start a general store. In 1969 they moved to Edson.
Erich passed away in October 1981 and Frieda stayed in her home until April 2016 when she moved into the Edson Lodge.
She is survived by her children Armin and Lori; her grandchildren Chris (Wendy and family), Alan (Amber); two great-grandchildren Katrina and Steven (Ava) and one great great granddaughter Lizzy; three sisters, Edith, Elsie, and Lydia; her brother Elmer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a small family graveside gathering will be held in the summer.
