SMIGELSKI, Fredrick (Fred)
On January 20th, 2012, Fredrick (Fred) Smigelski of Niton Junction, Alberta, beloved husband of Helen passed away suddenly at the age of 78 years.
Besides his loving wife Helen, Fred is survived by his children: son Steve (Toni) Smigelski, son Stanley Smigelski and his children Trevor and Curtis, son Scott (Karlene) Smigelski and their children Owen and Kyle all of Niton Junction, Alberta, and daughter Cindy (Russell) Dolanz and their children Brandon and Dylan, all of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are his siblings, John (Helen) Smigelski and family of Edmonton, Alberta,
Pete (Donna) Smigelski and family, Victor (Dora) Smigelski and family all of Stony Plain, Alberta, Walter (Joyce) Smigelski and family of Edmonton, Alberta, Julie (Bernie) Mueller and family of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Rose (Erv) Ryll and family of Beaumont, Alberta. Also surviving is his sister in law, Stella (Walter) Benko and family of Edmonton, Alberta as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, father William in 1979 and mother Dorothy in 1992.
Funeral services for Fred Smigelski will take place on Thursday, January 26th, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Beaver Meadow Hall with Father Don Bodner presiding. Interment will follow in the Hattonford Cemetery, Hattonford, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the 4H Foundation of Alberta, RR 1, Westerose, Alberta T0C 2V0 in memory of Fredrick Smigelski.
