KAZOLEAS, Emmanouil
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Emmanouil passed away on November 21, 2016 at the age of 75.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Beverly, sons Bill and James (Denise), daughter-in-law Kathryn, grandsons Lucas and Emmanouil, granddaughters Tori, Alexa and Kayla; brother Peter, sisters-in law Despina, Ruth, Tula, Norma and Carol; brother-in-law Duncan, mother-in-law Mary, cousins Ed and Bob as well as numerous extended family members and close friends, both here and in Greece.
Emmanouil has gone on to be reunited with his son Christopher, brothers Jimmy, George and Constantine, parents Antonios and Stavroula and father-in-law Vernon.
There are not enough words to describe the life of such a great man. Having moved from Greece at the age of 19, Emmanouil got involved in the restaurant industry and opened his own restaurant, Mountain Pizza & Steakhouse, in Edson in 1975 and in Whitecourt in 1979. He took immense pride in his business and in serving his community; his kindness and generosity touching all who met him. Emmanouil’s greatest joy in life however, was his family. There were no prouder moments than seeing his sons happy or watching his grandchildren grow. Emmanouil, Dad, Papou, Mani, Manuel, Manoli, Agape Mou, we will miss you.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Parish: 4803, 6th Ave, Edson.
