ONYSKO, Elizabeth
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Elizabeth (Liz) Onysko at the age of 81 years in Edson on Sunday January 6th, 2013.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her son Darrell Onysko of Spruce Grove, Alberta; her son Sydney (Judy) Onysko of Spruce Grove, Alberta and their children Monique (Phil) Hansen and their daughters, Breanna, Justine and Zoie, all of Edson, Alberta, Derek (Jen) Onysko and their son Connor of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Devon Onysko also of Spruce Grove, Alberta; her son Gerry Onysko and his daughter Dawn (Stan) Chojamcki and their children Kaitlyn and Natasha all of Victoria British Columbia.
Also surviving is brother Sydney (Francis) Wood and family of Edmonton, Alberta.
“Liz” was predeceased by her loving husband Larry in 1998, her mother Phoebe Maude in 1976 and her father Sydney in 1962,
The family of Elizabeth Onysko would like to thank Cheryl Switzer, Doctor Willis and the nursing staff of the Edson Healthcare Centre for their care and attention to our mother while she was in the hospital.
At her request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Elizabeth Onysko.
