JOHNSTON, Elizabeth
On July 3rd, 2014, Elizabeth Johnston passed away on her birthday at the age of 92 years.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving family: Meridith (Ben) Flower, Sandra (cliff) Tilby, Bob Johnston, and Kathie (Darrell) King all of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and her sister Tina Friesen of Vermilion, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1979, her father Peter in 1967, her mother Katerina in 1975, two grandchildren, Troy Johnston in 1974 and Patrick Williams in 1985.
Also predeceasing her was her sister Amanda Worthing in 2007 and brother Dick Neufeld in 2013.
Funeral services took place on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Edson Mennonite Church with Pastor Aaron Kaufman officiating and interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made the Edson Nursing Home 4716 –5th Ave., Edson, Alberta, T7E 1S8 in memory of Elizabeth Johnston.
