Elda Yakimovich of Hinton, Alberta passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the age of 75.
Elda was the oldest daughter of Emil and Della Nerbas. Elda was born in Landestreu, Saskatchewan August 25, 1941.
Elda is survived by her 2 sisters Mardell (Willie) Lischewski and Joan (Wayne) Mayan all of Hinton, Alberta. Elda has 3 nieces Nadine (Brad) Bancroft, Rhonda (Trevor) Bullick and Melanie Eleason and 2 nephews Clayton (Stephanie) Lischewski and Travis (Kyla) Mayan. Great nieces and great nephews Janae (Nelson) Bancroft, Madison Bancroft, Leah (Eric) Lischewski, Tanis Lischewski, Dreighton (Mikayla) Lischewski, Jordanna and Alexis Eleason, Oriana and Solsha Mayan. Elda also will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hinton on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Doug Heine officiating. A reception will follow in the lower hall of the church being graciously served by the Hinton ELW.
