SENYK, Edward
It is with regret that we announce the passing of Edward Senyk of Edson, Alberta on April 15th, 2012 at the age of 74 years.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Sandy of Edson, his loving daughters Lonni (Ron) and their children Shaun and Melissa of Peers, Alberta, and Karri (Rene) and their daughter Brinlee of Edmonton, Alberta.
Edward is also survived by his step sisters Raynell (Floyd) Cormin and family of Edmonton, Alberta and Mary Mendiuk and Millie Mendiuk of Calgary, Alberta. His sister-in-law Mary (Oswald) Salzsauler and family of Edson, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Edward was predeceased by his parents, mother Sophie in 1942, and father Andrew in 1962 as well as his stepmother Anastasia Senyk in 1997, his grandparents Nick in 1979 and Martha Roman in 1970, and his mother in law Jane Lee in 2007.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 20th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the
Royal Canadian Legion in Edson with Rev. Kent Horsman officiating.
Interment followed in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital 1502 College Plaza, 8215 112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2C8 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
