PLANTE, Edward Lloyd
It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Lloyd Plante of Marlboro, Alberta on September 5th, 2012 at the age of 70 years.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Doreen of Marlboro, Alberta, his loving children and their families, son Edward Plante of Airdrie, Alberta, daughter Judy (Jim) Plante- Crough and their children Kyle Plante and Rylan Plante – Crough all of Airdrie, Alberta and daughter Lorraine (Don) Nangreaves and their children Gage Plante and Darrien Plante all of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Also surviving are his siblings, brother Leonard (Christine) Plante and family of Marlboro, Alberta and sisters Doris Pennock and family of Clearwater, British Columbia and Edna Plante of Osoyoos, British Columbia, stepbrothers Bruce Plante and family, Jim Plante and family and stepsister Williena Quinlell and family. There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn as well.
Edward was predeceased by his parents Edward and Lucy Plante, stepmother Alice Plante, siblings Clarence Plante, Rickie Plante, Vivian Morley, Judy Plante and Rosemarie Plante, .
A wake service was held on Friday, September 7th, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Marlboro Community Hall and a Mass Of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Joselito E. Cantal on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Marlboro Community Hall. Interment followed in the Marlboro Cemetery, Marlboro, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes,, the family suggests donations be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Edward Lloyd Plante.
