GUBBE, Duane Dale
It is with profound sadness the we announce the passing of Duane Dale Gubbe of Hinton, Alberta on November 11th, 2010 at the age of 54 years.
Duane is survived by his loving wife Pat of Hinton and his faithful dog Sheela.
Also surviving Duane are his parents Joyce and Cecil Gubbe of Hinton, Alberta, his siblings:
Diane (Jim) Greenhalgh and family of Edmonton, Alberta, Sheryl (Reg) Speed and family of Miller’s Lake, Alberta, Yvonne (Doug) Kemmer and family of Hinton, Alberta, Lana (Jon) Gubbe – Little and family of Hinton, Alberta, Maureen (Jack) Gubbe- Hunt and family of Hinton, Alberta, Myrna (Ken) Williams and family of Hinton, Alberta and Laverne (Bryant) Kellie and family of Grande Cache, Alberta. There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Duane was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Carl and Selma Gubbe and his maternal grandparents George Carrigan and Eva and Claude Stebbing.
Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate Duane’s life was held on Friday, November 19th, 2010 at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church with Rev. Doug Heine officiating. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of other tributes the family suggests that donation be made to the Alberta Lung Association, PO Box 4500 Station South, Edmonton, Alberta, T6A 6K2, or to the Hinton SPCA, PO Box 5174, T7V 1X4 or to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Duane Dale Gubbe.
