HINCHEY, DOUGLAS SHELDON
On October 26th, 2010, Douglas Sheldon Hinchey of Edson, Alberta, beloved husband of Shirley passed away in Edson at the age of 86 years.
Besides his loving wife Shirley, Douglas is survived by his children: son Bob (Karen) Hinchey and their children Spencer (Jenny) Hinchey of North Langley, British Columbia, Stephanie Hinchey and Charlotte Hinchey, both of Langley, British Columbia, daughter Sharon (Dale) Hemmerling of Edson, Alberta and their children Heather (Grant) Groeller and their daughter Leara of Edmonton, Alberta,
Jason (Jen) Hemmerling of Edmonton, Alberta and Theresa (Jon) Connell of Beaumont, Alberta, son Allen (Patsy) Hinchey and their children, Casey Hinchey of Edson, Alberta, Sophie (Doug) Robinson of Consort, Alberta, Danielle (Bailey) Blackstock of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Nate Scribner of Castor, Alberta and Tammy Scribner (Dan) and their daughter Makayla of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving is are his sisters Elizabeth Mathers and family of Stony Plain, Alberta, Marion Cunningham and family of Stony Plain, Alberta and Margaret Sanders and family of Edson, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn as well.
Douglas was predeceased by his parents Walter and Agnes Hinchey and brothers Walter, James and William.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Monday, November 1st, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson with Rev. Kent Horsman officiating.
