REID, Dorothy Geneva (nee Cooper)
On June 28th, 2013, Dorothy Geneva Reid of Edson, Alberta passed away in Hinton at the age of 98 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving family, sons Evan Orcutt of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Donald (Frances) Orcutt of Leduc, Alberta and step daughter Bonnie Aston as well as her sisters Doreen Bliault and Catherine Jennessen both of Kamloops, British Columbia,
There are nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren left to mourn as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband Richard Orcutt in 1979 and her second husband Edson Reid in 1990, her parents Catherine and Burnette Cooper, her son Richard brothers Albert, Richard, Ronald, Ken and Virgil, sisters Helen Craven, Ethel Langer and Thelma Davies as well as stepdaughters Colleen Piercy and Lorraine Clouston.
Funeral services for Dorothy will take place on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Family Worship Centre (Pentecostal Church), Edson, Alberta with Pastor John Greiner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Dorothy Geneva Reid.
