McLEAN, DOREEN PATRICIA
On February 2nd, 2012, Doreen Patricia McLean of Niton Junction, Alberta, beloved wife of Harold for 49 years and 11 months, passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 69 years after a lengthy, hard fought battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Besides her husband Harold, Doreen is survived by her family; daughter Shannon (Gerald) Putzel of Brownsville, Texas, daughter Kristine (Garry) Titford of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, son Jason (Nicole) McLean of Niton Junction, Alberta, son Sean (Lisa) McLean of Wolf Creek, Alberta, daughter Sarah McLean of Niton Junction, Alberta, and son Adam (Erin) McLean of Niton Junction, Alberta. Also surviving are her grandchildren Christopher (Dyan), Michael, Matthew, Kaitlan, Dennis, Luke, Sarah, Justin, Shauna and Ethan and great grandchildren Kendra and Tristan.
Also surviving are her siblings; Margaret (Eric) Bowes and family of Orillia, Ontario, Charles (Sheila) MacInnis and family of Guelph, Ontario, Pearl († Joe) Fler and family of Cambridge, Ontario, Donald (Helen) McInnis and family of Sheffield, Ontario and Mary (Gary) Domainczuk and family of Marlboro, Alberta. There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn.
Doreen was predeceased by her infant son Joseph in 1972 as well as her parents Evelyn and Neil MacInnis and her brother Neil MacInnis and sister Georgina Sheehan.
A prayer service will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a Mass of the Resurrection celebrated by Father Andrew Lukaszewicz on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow this service.
