Dennis Neil Conarroe
January 26th, 1940 – June 19th, 2013
Dennis was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He and his brothers spent their childhood in and around the tiny community of Paradise Valley, Alberta. In 1956 his parents, Clarence and Vivian, moved the family to Hinton, Alberta to provide a better life for them. Dennis and his wife Linda were married in 1964 and in time were blessed with two children, Shaun and Kathi, their spouses Gale and Dennis, and four grand- daughters, Jordan and Ally Conarroe and Megan and Sydney Fischer. Dennis & Linda lived in Edmonton and Calgary before settling in Edson in 1977. Never afraid to take on new challenges, Dennis worked in many different fields throughout his life. His passion and love was as a furniture builder and wood turner, where he was able to create art out of wood. Dennis lived his life on his own terms and said “I have no remorse as to how I have lived my life.”
