DZUS, David Rodney
On August 28th, 2011, David Rodney Dzus of Edson, Alberta, beloved companion of Yvonne Cave, passed away at the age of 56 years.
Besides Yvonne, David is survived by his daughters: Elisa Dzus (Lance MacDonald ) and their daughter Ashton, all of Edmonton, Alberta; Tamara (Chris) Dell and their sons River and Skylar, all of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia; Kyla Dzus and her daughter Hailey from Edmonton, Alberta; and Tanya Dzus also from Edmonton, Alberta.
Also surviving are his parents Jack and Alice Dzus of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; his brother Elston (Connie) Dzus of Plamondon, Alberta and their son Zachary from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; his sister Judy (Paul) Konotopsky of Melville, Saskatchewan and their children Carrie (Jay) Wirth of Neudorf, SK and Wade (Kirby Ann) Konotopsky and children (Zedikiah, Alexander, Jonathan, and Maileigh) all of Middlemound, Queensland, Australia; Justin’s partner Jordan and their twins Kaycee and Isabelle of Edmonton, Alberta and granddaughter Azilina of Edson, Alberta.
David was predeceased by his son Justin in 2009.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for David Rodney Dzus will take place on Friday, October 7th, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Edson United Church with Rev. Kent Horsman officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
