BURNS, David Arthur
On January 8th, 2012, David Arthur Burns, of Peers, Alberta, beloved husband of Linda passed away at the age of 62 years.
Besides his loving wife Linda, David is survived by his children, son Mark (Lisa) Burns of Perth Ontario, and Penny (Bill) Burns of Guangzhou, China.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kaylea and Stephen, Billy (Melissa), Keisha and Jacob and great grandson Brady.
David is further survived by his siblings: Audrey (Dale) McDonald and family, Dorothy (Donald) Fleming and family, Bill (Betty) Burns and family, Allan (Sandra) Burns and family, Alice Lewis and family, Ruth Jones and family, Ann Burns and family, Lorraine Crotty and family, Gordon (Norma) Burns and family and Howard (Shelley) Burns and family. There are numerous other relative and many friends left to mourn.
David was predeceased by his mother and father Elsie and Harry Burns in 1992 as well as his brother Raymond Burns and brother-in-law Lorne Jones.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Edson on Saturday, January 14th, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Lay Minister Kimberley Roy officiating.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association Suite 1010, Royal Bank Building, 10117 Jasper Ave., Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 1W8 in memory of David Arthur Burns.
