SENYK, “Sandy”
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Sandy Senyk on October 4th, 2013 at the age of 73 years.
Sandy is survived by her loving daughters; Lonni (Ron) and their children Shaun and Melissa of Peers, Alberta, and Karri (Rene) and their daughter Brinlee of Edmonton, Alberta and her sister Mary (Oswald) Salzsauler and family of Edson, Alberta
Also surviving are her step sisters, Raynell (Floyd) Cormin of Edmonton, Alberta and Mary Mendiuk and Millie Mendiuk of Calgary, Alberta. There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Sandy was predeceased by her loving husband Edward on April 15th, 2012, her father and mother, Charles and Jane McLeod, mother in law Sophie Senyk in 1942, father in law Andrew Senyk in 1962 and step mother in law Anastasia Senyk in 1997.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 200, 325 Manning Road SW, Calgary, Alberta T2S 2T4, the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta – T5M 0H9 or to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Sandy Senyk.
