DESJARLAIS, “ALEC” CHEYENNE LEE
On October 18th, 2014, Alec Desjarlais passed away in Edson at the age of 27 years.
Alec will be dearly remembered by his mother Judy Anne Desjarlais of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as his sister Tuesday Desjarlais and Oliver of St. Albert, Alberta and their children Maria, Joshua, Deklan and Luthias; his sister Jasmine Desjarlais and Andy of Grande Prairie, Alberta and their children Kayleb and Kayne.
Alec is survived by his partner Maryn Koshman of Edson, Alberta and his Aunt Edith Belcourt of Marlboro, Alberta
Alec will be forever remembered by numerous other relatives and an abundance of friends.
Alec was predeceased by his Uncle Vernon Belcourt and mentor and friend Bruce Belcourt.
There was a gathering to celebrate and remember Alec on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Marlboro Community Hall.
There was a funeral service on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
Cremation will follow this service and an interment of his remains will take place on at a later date.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donation be made to The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, 870 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3G 0P1 (canadahelps.org/en/charities/canadian-association-for-suicide-prevention) in memory of Alec Desjarlais.
