SCHLICK, Carl Selmar
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our dear brother and uncle, Carl Selmar Schlick of Edson, Alberta on Friday, March 22nd, 2013 at the age of 75 years.
Carl is survived by his sister Margot (Ted) Field of Edson, Alberta and their family, Chuck Field and Lynn (Joe) Petrin and Ryan; Marianne Siaflekis and her children Michael and Janet and his brother Rudolf (Eleanor) Schlick of Winnipeg, Manitoba and their family, Heidi, Lorelei Schlick and Glenn Nakacauchi, Albert and Ruth. Carl will also be remembered by many cousins and a host friends.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, his father Rudolf in April of 1976 and his mother Marianne in January of 2001.
Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in the summer.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donations if desired may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, 10985 – 1214 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M 0H9 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road, NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 in memory of Carl Selmar Schlick.
