HUNT, Buddie Mark
November 17, 1929 – March 28, 2012
On March 28th, 2012, Bud Hunt passed away at the age of 82 years at the Hinton Hospital with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Left to mourn his loss are his sons, Murray and Teddie and his daughter Rudy (Kevin) Nachtigal, long time friend and mother of Teddie, Helen Bauer and her children Robert (Christine) Lepage, Haley (Steve) Chatfield and his sister Barbara Hunt-Morand. Also surviving are grandchildren Katlynn (Dave) McKinnon, Kristy and Amy Nachtigal, Daymin, Nola and Darris Chatfield and great grandchildren Carlee and Corbin McKinnon.
Bud was predeceased by his parents Chauncy and Jenny, brothers Jimmy, Lester and Frank Hunt, sisters Rutheda Deluce, Clara Fields and Dora Jean Hunt.
Bud was a self employed sawyer, logger and trucker who lived and worked in the Edson, Pedley and Hinton area. He was a kind, gentle and honest man who left a loving footprint on all our hearts.
Funeral services were held at St. Catherine’s Anglican Church in Edson on April 2nd, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sean Bell officiating. Interment followed in the Glenwood Cemetery.
