TAYLOR, Brian Earle (Tex)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Earle Taylor, beloved husband of Joan on March 1st, 2015 in Edson, Alberta at the age of 64 years.
Brian was working as a Linesman for Alberta Power when he met Joan in Stettler in 1994. They were instantly soulmates and wed in 1999, right before they transferred to Leduc for Brian’s promotion to Technical Trades Trainer within Atco Electric. He retired in 2006 then he and Joan started their travelling adventures together. In 2008 they bought a property in Mesa, Arizona and became snowbirds every winter.
He is survived by his daughters; Lavina Stewart and her children Kirsten (Josh), Carter, Jordan, Marshall and Wyatt of Blackfalds, AB, Theresa and her children Mackenzie and Dylan of Edson, AB, and Leslie Benjamin (Rick Rakhara) of Calgary, AB. Also surviving, his brother Grant Taylor of Edmonton, AB and very special cousins Sharon (Alex) Dybal and family of Sicamous, BC and Trudy Plumb of Edmonton, AB as well as many other family members and dear friends from over the years.
Brian was predeceased by his parents John and Shirley Taylor as well as his brother David Taylor and his Aunt Whippel Plumb.
Following Brian’s wishes for cremation, there will be a memorial service followed light luncheon to be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 2:00 PM at The Leduc Fellowship Church, 4401 Rollyview Road, Leduc, Alberta.
