McGUIRE, Betty Louise (nee Brown)
August 4th, 1931 – February 25th, 2012
On Saturday, February 25th, 2012, Louise passed away peacefully at the Edson Nursing Home. Her daughters Joyce, Jayne, Jean, Janice and granddaughter Kristie were at her bedside. Louise was 80 years old.
Louise is survived by her husband Earl and daughters Joyce (Bob) Reil, Janice Rayne, Jean (Doug) Ahlf, Jayne (Gerald) VanDyk and Joanne McGuire.
She was predeceased by her father William Roy (Hogger), mother Iva Nellie (Brownie) daughter Jacquie, five sisters, Edith, Nellie, Helen, Pat and Billie, two brothers, Clarence and George and her grandson Danny.
Sadly missed by her two sisters Dot (Issy) and Mae, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Dr. Willis and all the staff of the Edson Nursing Home. The exceptional care given to Mom was above and beyond.
“God Only Takes The Best”
“God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her and whispered “Come With Me”
With tear filled eyes we watched her suffer and fade away.
Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands were put to rest:
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best”.
Respecting Louise’s wishes, no formal service will take place.
A private family celebration of Louise’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests that you perform a random act of kindness in her memory, or make a donation to the Edson Nursing Home.
