DESJARLAIS, BERTHA LOUISE
January 29, 1967 – November 24, 2010
With a heavy heart, the family of Bertha Desjarlais of Edmonton, Alberta announce her passing on November 24, 2010. Bertha was 43 years old.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish all her memories is her loving children, Seanne Elize Desjarlais, Leonard Conrad Akers and Sawyer Wade Akers. Also surviving is one brother Alfred Desjarlais, sisters, Liz Ouellet, Margaret Warren, Barb Desjarlais, Christine Read, Nancy Desjarlais and Maria Desjarlais Bertha is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Bertha was predeceased by her mother, Violet Desjarlais, brothers, Peter Desjarlais, David James Desjarlais and maternal grandparents Dolly Whitehorse and Jim Whitehorse.
Funeral services for Bertha were held on November 27, 2010 at the Ravine Community Hall near Wildwood, Alberta at 1:00PM with Elder Ron Desjarlais presiding over the service. Burial followed at the Wildwood Cemetery in Wildwood, Alberta.
The family suggests that a donation, if desired, can be made to the family for funds to be directed to help her children.
