CONOVER, Barney
November 19, 1939 – January 28, 2014
It is with sad and heavy hearts that we say “goodbye” to a wonderful man. Barney passed away on January 28th in Whitecourt at the age of 74.
Barney is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Jeannette, one daughter Audrey (Dean) of Whitecourt and one son Carey (Bonnie) of Qualicum Beach, BC; five grandchildren Tessa, Megan Luke, Dylan and Cassidy and one great grand-daughter Emersyn; two sisters, Marg Leitch (Doug) of Calgary and Karen Conover (Stanley) of Rimbey as well as many, nieces, nephews, sister in-laws, brother in-laws and wonderful friends.
Barney was predeceased by his son Lyle, granddaughter Brandy, brothers Bill and John and sister Thora.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM Saturday, February 1st at the Whitecourt Senior’s Circle 5212-50th street.
In lieu of floral tribuites may be made to the Whitecourt Healthcare Center or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
