NELSON, Arthur “Wayne”
We regret to announce the passing of Wayne Nelson, age 69, beloved husband of Cheryl, on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 in Jasper, Alberta.
Besides his loving wife Cheryl, Wayne is survived by his son Arthur “Craig” (Heidi) Nelson and their children Andrew and Benton, all of Drumheller, Alberta and his daughter Carla (Alexander) Barnes of Victoria, British Columbia.
Also surviving are his parents Ernest and Irene Nelson and his sister Joyce Nelson all of Athabasca, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn
Following cremation, a “Celebration of Life” service was held on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Jasper United Church with Craig Nelson presiding.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Jasper United Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Drive NE, Calgary, Alberta – T2E 2P5 in memory of Wayne Nelson.
