~ Forever Remembered ~
Antonia Chiodi
It’s with heavy hearts and much love that we mourn the passing of Antonia Chiodi. She was born on October 3, 1935 and she passed away on December 13, 2016 at the age of 81years. Antonia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years Angelo, her son Joe (Laureen), her daughter Rosa (Nap Pucci), and her son John; her grandchildren Angela (Clint) McDonough, Brandon, Alaina, and her great-granddaughter Abby. Antonia is also survived by her sister Maria (Joe 2002) Perrino, her sister Pasqua (Ben) Perrino and her brother Tony (Bev) Delvecchio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews other realtives and very dear friends.
It brings us comfort in knowing Antonia is free from suffering, and she is with her parents John and Apollonia Delvecchio, her sister Angela Marzucco and her brother Dan Delvecchio.
The family would like to thank the many health care professionals involved in Antonia’s care over the past several years. Special thanks to the staff at Centennial Center for the care and compassion shown to Antonia and her family in her final days.
A Prayer Vigil service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. also at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church with Father Miroslaw Kostarzewski as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hinton, Alberta.
As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Antonia, memorial contributions may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation HRIF - East 1-020 1A University Campus N.W. Edmonton, Alberta T6G 9Z9.
