On April 9, 2016, Ann Gedischk of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away at the age of 83 years. Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her husband, Henry and her children, Jeannette (Janie) Gudmundson of Edson AB; Vicky Butler of Edson, AB; Conni Gagnon of Sylvan Lake, AB; Dona (Dax) Larocque of Sylvan Lake, AB; Tom (Erin) Gedischk of Victoria, BC.
She is survived by her grandchildren Erica (Kevin) Gullekson of St. Albert, AB; Trevor (Jennifer) Gudmundson of Edson, AB; Rob (Alesha) Butler of Edson, AB; Jaymie (Sherri) Gagnon of Sylvan Lake, AB; Andrea (Nick) Chayer of Red Deer, AB; Dessa Larocque of Sylvan Lake, AB; Natalia and Eliza Gedischk of Victoria, BC; Vanessa, Dan, Tanya, Tyrone Lapka from Manitoba.
Ann is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren; brother, Joe Leschyshyn of Ashern, MB and many nieces & nephews.
Ann was predeceased by her son, Daniel Lapka (2002) of Poplarfield, MB; Sister, Olga Clements (2015) of Columbus, Ohio; Brother Mike Leschyshyn (2006) of Arborg, MB.
Ann was a former resident of Edson and business owner of the Frontier Restaurant from 1982 - 1988 with her husband, Henry.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date. She will rest in peace in Glenwood Cemetery in Edson, AB
