BOHNING, Alice
It is with profound sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved Alice on July 25th, 2013 at the age of 71 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving husband Rob, of Edson, Alberta, her children; Tom (Mavis) Forbes of Yellowknife, NWT, Mike (Sandy) Forbes of Edson, Alberta, Kelly (Bruce) Hanson of Airdrie, Alberta, Tammy (Don) Williams of Edson, Alberta, Marion Bohning (Oliver) of Manchester, England, Michelle McNeil of Calgary, Alberta, Shannon (Shane) Glazerman of Edmonton, Alberta and Lee Ann Bohning (Rob) of Edmonton, Alberta. There are 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren left to mourn as well as her siblings, Bob (Thelma) Hill and family of Cherry, BC, Shirley Thomas and family of Edmonton, AB. and Jean Tocheniuk and family of Edmonton, AB., as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Alice was pre deceased by her sons Bruce Forbes in 1959 and Tim Forbes in 1984.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013 at1:00 PM at the Fulham Hall, Fulham, Alberta with Ms. Linda Wells officiating.
Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, 1502 College Plaza, 8215 – 112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 2C8 in memory of Alice Bohning.
