Albert (Al) Edward Knight was born in Calgary on April 18th, 1932 to Harry and Kathryn Knight.
Al passed away on August 14th, 2015 in Edson, Alberta surrounded by his loving family and close friends
Al is survived by his wife Lynise Knight, son Kevin Knight and grandchildren Brody, Derek, Jeff and Jaci, daughter, Sommer Westman (Brad) and grandchildren, Kaylynn, Brayden, Jenessa and Tyler, sons Cale Knight and Curtis Knight and daughter Ciera Knight.
Al lived his life to the very fullest and he accomplished every dream and goal that he ever set.
Al loved his home full of family and the noise they made when they were all together, and he was so very proud of all their accomplishments and loved to talk about them with anyone.
He had a love for cars and airplanes and was so very proud of his career in the oil patch for sixty years.
A "Celebration" of Al's life will be held on Friday, August 21st, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to S.T.A.R.S Air Ambulance, Building 16, 29 Airport Road, Edmonton, Alberta - T6G 0W6.
