AURIAT, Aime
It is with great sadness that the family of Aime Auriat would like to announce his passing. Aime passed away on April 14, 2015 at the age of 62 at the University of Alberta Hospital as a result of health complications arising from a lung transplant he received in 2009.
Aime is leaving behind Linda: the love of his life and the greatest cook he ever met; his mother Sena; and his children Trent; Scott; Lia and her husband Pat and their children Maddon and Brighton; Kaille and her partner Bradley; Tristan and his wife Tamara and their children Ryker and Hadley; and his son Damon.
Along with his wife, mother, and children, he is departing from his brother Terry along with his wife Mary and their three children; his sister Anne along with her husband Curtis and their four children; and a wealth of other family members and friends.
He has been predeceased by his father Edouard and his grandson Ethan. Aime was a faithful husband, father, son, family member, and friend.
He was a committed member and supporter of his community.
Of the many qualities he possessed, the ones that stood out the most were his amazing intelligence and extraordinary work-ethic.
He had an infectious personality, and will be missed dearly by those he has left behind.
Memorial services took place on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at The Edson and District Recreation Complex.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations in Aime’s name be directed to support the Lung Transplant Program at the University of Alberta Hospital, c/o the University Hospital Foundation, 8440 112th Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 2B7.
