Dear Lynn and Family,
I was on holiday when George passed.I was sorry to hear about his broken hip and subsequent complications leading to his death.
As you know I was his Doctor until I retired last summer.It was always a pleasure to see George usually with his care giver Lynda Maris.Despite his challenges and health problems he was always outwardly happy and positive.And he thanked me at every visit for being there for him.It created a very positive relationship.I know that you were very attentive to his needs and should be proud of the care you gave him.That knowledge will help to comfort you in his loss.Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you, and George,

I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. I always enjoyed working with him at Diana's he was a very caring man. He treated those animals like they were his own. My sympathies.
