Born in Sheridan, Manitoba on February 17th, 1947, to Roy and Mildred Ogden, with sisters June and Carol, Wayne grew up with a strong sense of values and hard work that shaped the way he lived his life. He dedicated 30 years to Atco, before starting his own company; Ogden Right of Way Services.
A photographer, hunter, pilot, sailor, navy league cadet, draftsman, fisherman, wood worker, voyager, and gardener, Wayne found joy in more hobbies than most could ever dream of tackling in one lifetime.
Wayne was known for his poker table prowess, practical jokes, and his labors of love; his acreage, greenhouse and ultralight aircraft.
He is survived by his wife Donna Michelle, Daughter Deena (Jason and grandson Jayce), son Aaron (Cristina), son Darryl, sister June and loved nieces and nephews. His love, guidance, and unwavering support will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A celebration of life will take place Friday May 29, 2026, 1-3 pm at the Edson Seniors Pioneer Cabin. 4836 7 Ave Edson, Alberta.
