Christopher Vincent Conroy “Vince”

February 26 1943-March 4 2018

Christopher Vincent Conroy, 75, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Grande Cache Community Health Complex, Sunday March,  4 2018. Born February 26, 1943 in Newtown House Ballivor, Co. Meath, Ireland.

On April 4 1981, Vince married his best friend, Cheryl Lynn Conroy in Calgary Alberta.

Vince enjoyed Camping, Quading and spending time with his family. In his retirement years Vince could always be found in his specially built Man Cave Garage listening to Irish music and entertaining friends and family. As well as volunteering for the Grande Cache Food Bank.

Vince spent his working years as a Journeyman Plumber and Gas Fitter for the Government of Canada out of the Grande Cache Correctional Institute where he made lifelong friends and fond memories.

Vince is predeceased by his parents Christopher and Rose Anne Conroy of Newtown Ballivor County Meath, His first born son Christopher Conroy, and brothers Sean and Michael Conroy.

Vince is survived by his wife Cheryl Conroy, two daughters, Kathleen Hofer (Michael Hofer), Tara Conroy (Andrew Storrie), and son Sean Conroy (Courtney Conroy). As well as six grand children

Carter and Lindsay Hofer, Laughlin, Vaughn, and Finleigh Storrie, and Eleanor Conroy.

Vince is also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Tony Conroy (Mary Herb), Philip Conroy (Joan),

Martin Conroy (Dolores), Anne McLaughlin, Gemma (Tim)
