Valerie Ann Findlay

Valerie will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 51 years, John Findlay. She was a proud and caring mother to her daughters, Michelle Findlay and Janice Gauchier (Roger), and a cherished sister to Barb Bianchini.

She was a deeply loved grandmother to Shelby Findlay, Eric Findlay, Jonathon Findlay (Nikki), Marcus Findlay (Cheyna), Trevor Paquette (Lauren), and Mariah Gauchier (Garrett), and a proud great-grandmother to her great-grandson, Bo Findlay. Valerie also held a special place in her heart for Keira Gomuwka, Caden Sculthorp, Makayla Sculthorp, Caleigh Findlay, and Adam Findlay, whom she considered her grandchildren.

She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Valerie was predeceased by her parents, Julius and Marjorie Holland; her sister, Dianna Beck; and her brother, Edgerton Holland.

Valerie’s warmth, strength, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Valerie’s memory to the Edson Friendship Centre.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
