Thomas Edward Chase

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our hero, Thomas Edward Chase, also known as Tom, tomcat, dad and Papa T., on September 18, 2024. Tom passed away at the age of 48 in Edson, Alberta. 

Tom was born in Kelowna, BC, on August 12,1976. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years Christine, children Matthew (Courtney), Jacob (Hayley), Alexia (Avery), Shyla (Brayden), grandchildren Everett and Alaiyah. He was predeceased by his dad Anthony Chase and step Dad Jim Johnson. 

Tom built his life in Yellowhead County, Alberta, with his family. He was known for his passion and love for the trucking industry. With a big heart Tom was always there to give and never expected anything in return. Tom loved spending his time with his wife, kids and grandchildren. On days off Tom and his wife Christine would spend their time camping, hiking and trips to Jasper. 

Christine and the kids would like to send a huge thank you to the neuro staff at the U of A and the Edson Hospital for their care and compassion towards Tom. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Edson Christian Reformed Church, 4633 7Ave., Edson, Alberta, on October 4, 2024, at 1:00PM 

After the Service, please follow the family to their home for stories, laughs and food.
