Sylvia Louise (Macdonald) Rhodes of Edson, Alberta, went home to her Lord and Savior July 23, 2024, at the age of 86.
She was born April 4, 1938, in Moberly Lake, British Columbia, to William Joseph Macdonald and Adelaide Desjarlais. Sylvia, otherwise known as 'Super Grandma', 'Kookum', and 'Sugar Baby Grandma', was a very thoughtful, compassionate person. Sylvia loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was kind and generous with her time and thoughtful in everything she did, her heart was full, and it overflowed onto all who knew her.
To miss someone so much means they were extremely special, and we were blessed to have her in our lives.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Bernard (Mary), Jack (Lois), Kenneth, Leslie (Jay), Vicki (Shane), Bernadette (Mark), Terri-Lynne (Troy), 28 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, her friends Jean Doucet, JoAnne Baron, along with many more.
She is predeceased by husband Terrance Noel Rhodes, and children Arlene, Michael and Judy.
