Stephen Medford Aucoin

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Stephen Medford Aucoin on March 1, 2022, at the age of 36.

Stephen is survived by his partner Emerice, his beautiful daughter Scarlette, Mom Shelley, Dad Steve, Brother Scott, Grandmothers, Gladys Aucoin and Isabelle Fleck, Uncles, Donald (Teresa) Fleck, Brad (Christie) Fleck, and Bill (Cindy) Lee. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Stephen was predeceased by his grandfathers Kenneth Fleck and Stephen Aucoin.

Stephen was born and raised in Grande Cache AB, where he enjoyed the outdoors life. Beginning at a young age he was always out fishing, hiking, camping, quadding, snowboarding, sledding and golfing; anything and everything, He was always busy with something.

Stephen was extremely loving, protective and proud of his daughter Scarlette he was an exceptional family man who in his later years enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a friend to so many and always prioritized those he loved.

An extraordinary young man and a remarkable father he will be remembered as the conspicuous gentleman by all those who knew him. 

If friends desire, memorial donations can be made in Stephen’s name to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 10734 Shand Ave. Grande Cache AB, Saturday March 12, 2022, at 1PM
