William Gordon Stanley Livingston passed away October 31, 2025, at his home in Edson, Alberta, surrounded by his family. Stan was born on October 26, 1958, in Haney, BC, this is where his journey began. He lived a life that will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his dedication to his work and his love for his family. Stan dedicated his professional life to being a Millwright and most recently the Maintenance Supervisor at the ANC in Whitecourt, Alberta. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his passion for fishing, hunting, home renovations and mentoring others.
Stanley spent many years as an avid hunter. He loved to golf, enjoyed hockey as well as other sports. He took pride in his home and was one of the hardest workers you could ever meet. Stan always faced the world with a smile and was always there if you needed a helping hand. He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy, and their two children Steven (Michelle) and Amanda (Brad). Stan also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters, as well as his sister Andrea, nephews Justin and Cam and niece Shellaine. Stanley was predeceased by his mother Hazel, father William and brother Ken.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, an organization that was close to his heart.
A Celebration of Stanley’s Life was held Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at the Edson Legion, Edson, Alberta.
