Shirley Pulishe was born on August 20, 1936, in Edson Alberta.
She is pre-deceased by her husband of 51 years, John Pulishe, parents Gordon and Mary Jones, daughter Beverly Thomas, son-in-law Edward Kirby, grandson Dale Kirby and great grandson Bradley Kirby.
Survived by her children Debbie (Tom), Janice (Bill), Kathy (Ken), Barbara (Allen), Susan (Harry), Joan (Gary), Brenda, George (Linda), sister Rachel (Ted), 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Shirley was admitted to the Royal Alexandra Hospital on January 26, 2023, after suffering from a stroke, sadly she did not survive. Her struggle ended February 21, 2023. She will be sorrily missed by her family and friends.
Mom loved to travel in her younger years and her and dad made many trips together.
Their favorite place to go locally was Miette Hot Springs to soak in the warm healing waters.
She also loved to play cards and really enjoyed floor curling and other activities at the Stony Plain Senior Hall near her home.
Rest in peace mom, know that you will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be Held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51, Edson, AB, on March 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow
