Sharon Marie West

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, Sharon Marie West on May 22, 2023.
Sharon passed peacefully in her sleep at the University of Alberta hospital at the age of 66. 

Sharon was born on September 24, 1956, in Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan to Adam and Katherine Brandle.  She moved to Alberta when she was 8 years old and lived her life around the Fulham and Peers areas. Sharon married James West on June 10, 1978. 

Sharon is survived by her husband Jim, her daughters, and grandchildren; Shawna (Trent) West, Jayden, Ronan, and Cohen. Lisa (Sean) McLean, Ethan. Kristy (Evan) West, Grace, Asher, and Paige. Sherry (Mike) Petersen, Travis, Logan, and Mathew. Her siblings David Brandle, Earl (Linda) Brandle, Rodney Brandle, Barry (Karen) Brandle, Mark (Robin) Brandle, Holly Brandle, Denise Brandle, Angela (Earl) Anderson, Carmen (Danny) Rondeau. She was predeceased by her parents Adam and Katherine Brandle, and brothers Matthew Brandle and George Brandle.

A Funeral service will be held for Sharon on Saturday June 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Taking place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, AB.
