Sharon Ann Eaglesham

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, Sharon Ann Eaglesham.
On Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 77, surrounded by her family, Sharon passed peacefully after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Sharon was born on August 30, 1946, in Hamilton, Ontario and resided in Port Credit, Ontario, until 2011 when she moved to Jasper, Alberta.
Sharon (nee Gallinger) was married to Robert Clive Eaglesham (of Guelph, Ontario) in June of 1965 and from that union had two daughters.

She is survived by her two children Shari (Scott) Warren of Kelowna, British Columbia and Cyndi (Michael) Day of Jasper, Alberta; 8 grandchildren (Taylor Cameron, Payton and Leah Warren; Skye, Sierra, River, Aiden and Coral Day) and 5 great-grandchildren (Leo, Finn & Ivy Day Wolff and Isla & Indy Cooper). She is also survived by her siblings, Sandy (Paul) Corbett, Howard, Paul and Grant Gallinger, and nieces Kristy and Kelly Corbett.
Sharon is pre-deceased by her mom, Loretta Jean Gallinger (nee Frazier), Dad, Eldon Lloyd Gallinger and sibling Sally Ann Gallinger. 

We were fortunate to have a mom who was creative, generous, and supportive. She spent her time knitting and sewing, visiting with friends and family, and attending church. She worked in a few different fields in her life; Real Estate, Insurance, and Financial Planning. She was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren and she would have loved being a part of this ever-growing family. Sharon will be remembered for her smile, her laughter, and her infamous red hat.

There will be a private inurnment in the Spring of 2024.
