Rosie (Wychesko) Chorniak

Rose Woychesko was born on a farm close to Yorkton, Sask., where she lived until she married Paul Chorniak on November 1, 1942. They farmed near Jedburg Sask. And had 2 children, Ray and Elaine. The family moved to Calder Sask. For 2 years before coming to Hinton in 1955, during the Mill construction, where Rose has resided ever since.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Linda, grandson Nelson (Alana), great grandsons Aiden and Ethan, as well as grandson Robert and great granddaughters Emma and Amanda.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Paul on January 21, 2003, her daughter Elaine on April 3, 2013, son Ray on December 5, 2020 and her granddaughter Lisa on March 23, 2011. Also, by her family, Nick & Sophie, brothers Billy, John, Mike and Alex and sisters Anne and Mary.

Rose lived a very active and social life and enjoyed all of her friends until we were all forced to isolate ourselves.

We wish to give special thanks to all the staff, nurses and doctors at the Hinton Hospital for being such kind, thoughtful and hardworking people.
