Rose-Ann Marie (Chowace) Weigel

Rose-Ann was born in Calais, AB on January 4th, 1950. 

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, Rose-Ann Marie Weigel, who passed away on December 27th, 2023, at the age of 73, in Edson, AB. 

Left to mourn Rose-Ann Marie is her loving husband and best friend of 58 years, Paul Weigel of Edson, two loving daughters, Carol of Edson, Lori-Ann of Airdrie, her beautiful grandchildren Jennifer Rose, Terrin Michael, and Tyler John. Also left to mourn is her loving brother Edward Chowace, of Sturgeon Lake, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her loss. 

Rose-Ann was predeceased by her father and mother Xavier and Isabel Chowace; along with her brothers George, Pete, Charlie, Leonard, and her sisters Irene and Florestine all of Sturgeon Lake, AB and son-in-law Steve Michael Fabick of Rocky Mountain House. 

A Celebration of Life for Rose-Ann Marie Weigel will be held at the Edson Royal Canadian Legion in Edson on January 5th, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
