Rebecca Rae Huston

We are deeply saddened to announce that our beautiful and dearly loved daughter, Rebecca Rae Huston, passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020.

To Rebecca's family, she was simply known as Bek or Becky. She will be remembered for her love of the truth and her unfailing kindness and generosity to all.

Becky loved animals, art, dancing and music. To Bek, music was like breath; it moved through her. With it, she felt most alive.

She was also known for her creativity, tenacity and energy. She used these gifts to become a self-taught graphic artist in the family run business. This defined Beck's passion and desire to create.

Next to her love to create, whether through pencil and paper or in the kitchen, was her love of the outdoors. Becky loved spending afternoons swimming in the heat of the sun, floating carefree. She loved being near water and it filled her with so much joy that when she spoke of it you could see her blue eyes sparkle.

Becky had intense loyalty and deep love for her family. Above all this though, Bek loved her God, Jehovah.

We love you Becky more than words can describe. We sorely miss your hugs, watching you laugh as you recall a funny movie that none of us have watched in years or watching you dance when one of your favourite songs played. Most of all we will remember how beautiful, funny, creative, generous and energetic you were. We look forward to the day soon when we can hug you and never let you go. Until that time, we know that you are safely in our Grand Creator's memory.

Rebecca is survived by her parents Joe and Lois Huston; siblings Reeba, Jacob, Spring and Satchyl; and her close knit extended family members who are too numerous to mention.
