Raymond John Randall

It is with extreme sadness that I announce the passing of my husband and best friend, Raymond Randall. Ray was the owner of Raybo Well Control, a specialized snubbing company in Edson Alberta. He also worked overseas in Argentina, Cuba, and Hungary and was very well-known throughout the Oil and Gas industry. Today we have lost an icon. Ray was one of the most well-respected, old-school snubbers who mentored and taught his employees so well that many of them went on to start their own successful careers and businesses. So many of his employees have reached out to give their condolences and to tell me they feel like they have not just lost a friend but a father figure as well.  

Ray will be dearly missed by his wife Carole, his daughter Angel and son in law Chris, stepsons Cody & Trevor, Grandsons Chase & Braeden, and granddaughters Kayden & Sophia.  He is survived by his mother Pat and sisters Connie and Chris and many close friends around the globe.   

I am going to miss our quiet conversations about our future hopes & dreams, his quirky sense of humor, his quick wit, and his ability to be the voice of reason in the midst of chaos. He could quickly cut to the chase and see the big picture and do what needed to be done. 

One of his greatest pleasures was going to the cabin on Little Shuswap Lake in BC and sitting on the deck with a beer in his hand and look out at the million-dollar view. This was one of his greatest stress reliefs of all and he will be missed dearly by all our great neighbors and friends that we met along Schouten Road and getting together with our best friends in Sicamous & in San Jose del Cabo Mexico
