Priscille Marie Marthe (Talbot) Boisvert

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Priscille Marie Marthe Boisvert, at the age of 87, on 2024-04-24 in Hinton, Alberta, surrounded by children and grandchildren. Priscille Marie Marthe Boisvert was born on 1936-05-03 in Saint-Gedeon, Quebec, to Eugene and Alicia Talbot and married to Jean Claude Boisvert. A hardworking woman, she was a fulltime mother of 8 (7 boys and 1 girl) who, along with her husband, made the decision to move from Quebec to Hinton, Alberta, to raise and grow their family. Priscille was a selfless, simple, dedicated and loving woman who always welcomed others into her home for a meal or a safe place to stay, leaving an undeniably positive influence on anyone who happened to pass through. Priscille had an enthusiastic sense of humor and always found joy in life. An image of patience, diligence, and grace, she was a passionate woman with many skills and enjoyed such hobbies as gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, enjoying nature and the outdoors, volunteering at the Share Shop, playing games such as cards and hosting tournaments of her favorite game, Pichenotte. Much of her time was spent with her children and grandchildren, always ready to pass along some of her wisdom and making certain everyone had full bellies.

She was loved by so many she has come across and her lifelong lessons along with indelible memories will never fade as she is survived by siblings Donald and Reginald, children Reno Boisvert, Jocelyn Boisvert (Annie Poulin), Come Boisvert, Roger Boisvert (Debra Boisvert) and Yves Boisvert. grandchildren Melissa and Sarah Lamb, Benoit Poulin, Julian Boisvert (Jordan Boisvert), Dex Tomlin, Blanche Evans (Chris Evans) and Brianne Tomlin, great grandchildren Colton Lamb, Connor Lamb, Autumn Lamb, Alison Poulin, Grayson Evans, and Emery Boisvert.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, husband Jean Claude Boisvert, siblings Jeannette, Carmelle, Jules, Alben, Marius, and Raymonde, children Andre "Doris" Boisvert, Hughes "Huey" Boisvert (Deidre Boisvert), and her only daughter Carolyn Tomlin (Doug Tomlin).

A Funeral Service will be held on May 19th, 2024, at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church for 2 pm.
