It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the age of 97.
Phyllis Evelyn Pillage passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024 in the Edson Continuing Care Dementia Unit.
Phyllis Pillage was born on August 4, 1927 in Melfort, Saskatchewan.
She was survived by her children Robert (Bob) (Bonnie) Pillage, Sandra (Tom) Erickson, Karen (Doug) Anderson, Brian (Donna) Pillage and David (Laura) Pillage; her loving and precious grandchildren Bobbi (Curtis) Liebrecht, Dana (Shallen) Erickson, Gary (Nilsa) Anderson, Tyler Pillage, Lonny (Amy) Pillage, Jessica (Jason) Starkevich, Logan (Jenna) Pillage, Stephanie (Brett) McDougall, Jeanna (Steve) Parfett and Danny (Maranda) Pillage; 16 great grandchildren Mila, Rowyn, Vadah, Deagan, Brooklyn, Daxon, Nya, Alivia, Joshua, Sofia, Drew, Marlowe, Jayden, Berkley, Adaley and Makena.
She was also survived by her brothers Carl (Buddy) and John (Olivia)Cazes and sisters Edna (Teenie) (John) Zawyrucha and Blanche (Sis) Kyler.
She was predeceased by her husband William Thomas Pillage on March 19, 1999, parents Albert and Mabel Cazes, as well as her sister Velma Wallington.
Phyllis was always a kind and gentle soul and loved by so many.
A very special thank you to all the staff at the Edson Continuing Care Dementia Ward. Words cannot express the kindness, love and compassion they gave to our precious mom.
Celebration of Life gathering will be on November 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm. at the
Bethel Pentecostal Family Worship Centre
