It is with much sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Patrick Stewart Robinson on May 22, 2021, with his wife and daughters at his side. Pat was born July 18, 1938 in Edson, AB to parents Sam and Velma Robinson. He lived his entire 82 years in Carrot Creek, most of them on the Robinson quarter that has been in the family for over 100 years.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by Judy, his dedicated wife of 51 years; four loving children Kristy (Paul), Jackie (Mike), Jim (Tanis) and Rob; as well as his six precious grandchildren Megan and Jack Williamson, and Alyssa, Nicole, Derek and Reid Robinson.
He is survived by his sister Susan (John) Dolanz, his sisters-in-law Lucy Robinson and Barb Madden, his brother-in-law Robert Mackay, and numerous family and friends that will dearly miss him, especially his dear friend Joe Bollo.
Pat was predeceased by his parents Sam and Velma Robinson and his siblings Jack Robinson, Herb Robinson and Shirley Mackay.
He lived a life of vitality and purpose, from his hurried pace to his need to stay busy. Pat loved to work and rarely sat down; but when he did, he enjoyed playing crib and telling stories from his adventurous younger days. He had a passion for flying his Cessna 185, especially to the north with his friends. Pat loved fishing, hunting, trapping and spending time in the bush. He was a good teacher, be it driving, navigation, or nature survival skills. Pat had loyal and caring friends that he enjoyed spending time with.
Due to Covid, a private family service will take place at a later date.
Many thanks to Dr Rudi Gous from the Edson Medical Centre for his exceptional care of Pat.
