Patricia Anne Graham

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Anne Graham, on April 29, 2025, at the age of 73, in Hinton, Alberta.

Born on October 27th, 1951, in Dauphin, Manitoba, Pat was the beloved daughter of  Earl and Ethel Wellborn. She met Derwyn while attending nursing school and married him in 1972.

Pat and Derwyn left Manitoba in 1973 for a great adventure and found their home at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.  It was here that they raised their family, forged lifelong friendships, and built a happy life. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christine (John) Bjorkquist, Lisa Lovegren and Douglas Graham, her grandchildren Mason, Molly, Nya, and Isaac, her brothers Ken (Audrey) Wellborn, Harold (Wendy) Wellborn, and Bruce Wellborn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.  Pat was predeceased by her husband, Derwyn Graham, and her parents, Earl and Ethel Wellborn.

Pat was fiercely loyal and generous with her time, always ready to help those she loved.

She will always be remembered for her friendly smile and quiet humour.

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So, he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, “Peace be Thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
