Otto Albert Ulrich

Otto Ulrich, born in Switzerland on December 3, 1934 passed away peacefully in the HInton General Hospital on  February 29, 2020.

Otto came to Canada as a young man. He worked in various jobs until he settled in Hinton. Otto was a hard working logger and stayed active for much of his life. He was a downhill skier, cross country skier, kayaker, hiker, cyclist ... in his later years, he was often seen walking or riding his bike around Hinton (even in the winter).

Otto leaves many friends in Hinton and relatives in Switzerland. He enjoyed his last few years at Pine Valley Lodge where he loved to socialize and especially enjoyed the food.

Appreciation goes out to the staff at Pine Valley who treated Otto like family, the dedicated and compassionate nurses at the Hinton hospital and Dr. Beamish and Dr. Weninger who were always kind and considerate.
