Olga Edna (Strynadka) McCuistion

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Olga McCuistion of Edmonton, AB at the age of 86. She will be remembered for her love of flowers, gardening and all things outdoors. Her door was always open to anyone dropping by and they would be treated to some of her delicious baking.

Olga is survived by her loving family who she talked about with great pride and joy: 4 children Robert Kallbom (Cyndie) of Whitecourt, Elaine Olson of Jasper, Wendy Muller (Terrance) of Peachland, Karen (Richard) Preteau of Vermilion: 10 grandchildren Richard (Bonnie), Eric; Nadine, Amie (Al), Stacey; Skye, Chloe, Liam; Wyatt, Reyanne; 9 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Dianne Conroy (Bill) of Red Deer and numerous other family and friends.

Olga was predeceased by parents William and Jean Strynadka, brothers Alex and Vic, son-in-law Brian Olson, her partner of many years Harold Cleaver and many other relatives.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
